Alaia board proves a challenge
This surfer took out his “Alaia” to join the mix at the pier in November. I didn’t see him catch a wave and the paddle out was a lengthy process. Today’s NY Times article highlights this Hawaiian instrument along with the challenges of paddling and riding one. Very cool!
